Prazivet Plus (per tablet)

Prazivet Plus.  Active Ingredients: Praziquantel, Pyrantel pamoate, Febantel. Use: For the control of tapeworms, roundworms, hookworms and whipworms in dogs and puppies. Used for deworming dogs over 3 weeks old who weigh at least 500g (1lb) Directions for use: 1 tablet per 10kg (22 lbs) bodyweight. The tablets can be given directly to the dog or disguised in food. No starvation is needed before or after treatment. Dosage: Weight 1/2-2 kg = 1/4 tablet Weight between 2 and 5 kg = 1/2 tablet Weight between 6-10 kg = 1 tablet Weight between 11-15 kg = 1 1/2 tablets Weight between 16-20 kg = 2 tablets Weight between 21-25 kg = 2 1/2 tablets Weight between 26-30 kg = 3 tablets Weight between 31-35 kg = 3 1/2 tablets Weight between 36-40 kg = 4 Tablets Pharmaceutical Precaution: For the control of Toxocara, nursing bitches should be dosed 2 weeks after giving birth and every two weeks until weaning. Puppies should be treated at 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age. Thereafter they should be treated at 3 month intervals. It is advisable to treat the bitch at the same time as the puppies. For routine control adult dogs should be treated every 3 months. In the event of heavy roundworm infestation a repeat dose should be given after 14 days. Do not exceed recommended dose when treating pregnant bitches. Do not use simultaneously with piperzine compounds. Consult a Veterinary Surgeon before treating pregnant bitches for round worms. Tapeworm infestation is certain to recur unless control of intermediate hosts such as fleas, lice etc. is undertaken. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use after expiry date.
